We are a Group Employment Organisation (GTO), a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), a Recruitment service and an Online Training provider. We are now the largest company providing employment to apprentices and trainees in Tasmania.
Our company was formed by business people and industry leaders who foresaw that traditional methods of recruitment and training would eventually leave Tasmania with a skills shortage. Through the ‘group employment’ concept Work & Training Ltd recruits and employs apprentices and trainees and places them with selected host businesses that provide quality training and employment.
We have offices in Hobart (Moonah), Launceston and Ulverstone, employ 39 core staff covering the state and provide 400 trainees and apprentices to businesses across Tasmania.
