This qualification is delivered over 24 month’s full-time employment – unless competency is demonstrated prior to the nominal completion date. Part-time arrangements are available to align with participants’ hours of employment per week. RPL is offered to all participants. If RPL is applicable, the duration will vary per individual.
Target Group
Individuals in the aged care, community services and disability sector with possible titles as Care Assistant, Support Worker, Disability Support Worker, Field Officer, Community House Worker, In Home Respite Worker.
Pathways
A direct pathway exists between CHC30208 Certificate III in Aged Care and CHC40108 Certificate IV in Aged Care. However some participants may opt to undertake future training in different streams of the CHC08 Community Services Training Package including, CHC40308 Certificate IV in Disability, CHC40608 Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or CHC40708 Certificate III in Community Services Work.
