Outstanding Achievements of Tasmanian Apprentices and Trainees Recognised

Work and Trainings’ Annual Awards were held last night , with over 300 in people in attendance to honour the achievements of Tasmanian Apprentices and Trainees.
Employing over 400 hundred apprentices and trainees statewide nominees were from every corner of the state, across vocations from Business, IT , dental through to traditional trades.

The Trainee of the Year award went to Letitia Blackwell (Tasmania Police) who is undertaking Certificate III in Business, and the much prized Apprentice of the Year went to Stephen Donovan (Metro) who recently completed his heavy vehicle mechanics apprenticeship and is undertaking further studies..
The Jack Kelleher Perpetual Trophy Emerging Potential was awarded to Jessica Alexander, who was recently awarded the TASTA trainee of the year and will be representing Tasmania at the National Training awards in Canberra in November.

Tasplan.
Work and Training is Tasmania’s largest Group Employment Company currently hosting some 400 apprentices to business state-wide , and since 1988 has been part of upskilling some 8500 Tasmanians.
